Kibana OSS 7.7.0 + OD Security plugin 1.8.0.0 : No security tab

Hello,

I’m installing Open Distro security plugin 1.8.0.0 over Kibana OSS 7.7.0, connected to a running ES 7.7.0 cluster with initialized security plugin

In Kibana, the “security” icon is not present in the left sidebar. When I access the Security app (from the Kibana home landing page), the page looks ugly and I can’t do anything with it.

Any idea what’s wrong ?

@jeanfabrice Did you manage to get this resolved? Have you tried the newer versions?

Sure. I managed to get this solved by setting up appropriates roles & roles_mapping using securityadmin.sh
