Yep, this page has been up for a while.
They use it as a paid search landing page - they basically pay for ads on search engines and link this page (for when people google specific terms like “what is opensearch” or “opensearch vs elasticsearch”, etc.). It’s important to understand it for what it is: an advertisement.
It’s nothing to worry about honestly. At another company I saw the effectiveness of these types of programs - it’s not impressive. I don’t know many engineers that would be swayed by this type of writing.
