Hey guys so im trying to install opendistro ES and Kibana on my EC2 instance (t3.large). and for some reason im getting a ton of errors.
First of all i cant install the security package: exit status 255
installing ES or Kibana simply creates an empty folder in /etc/elasticsearch or /etc/kibana
no yml file no nothing. The only files that get installed in the ES folder are the keystore and a jvm.options file which only has literally 3 lines of code (im know for a fact that that’s not how its supposed to be)
So can anyone please tell me what im missing here? im following the guide they have on their website: Debian Package - Open Distro Documentation
i even tried installing previous versions but with no success. So what’s the issue here?
