I do not see “Elasticsearch” and all of its sections (e.g. Index Management) on my Kibana OD Management page. Any idea what might cause this?

This behaviour is normal, Elasticsearch Management section is only available in Official Elasticsearch Version because it’s part of proprietary code.

Hello, yes it’s really useful for managing Elastic indexes directly from Kibana.
It’s free but still proprietary. You are not allowed to use the code. This is why it’s not present in the Elastic Open Source version, which Open Distro is based on.
Hope you can find your way without this section.
